About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and agile Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operations in two 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes in West Sydney. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of Disability Support Workers to develop and implement best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and supervise a team of Disability Support Workers.
- Coordinate the care and services to the people we support in each SIL home.
- Coordinate SIL home resources, including shared spaces, assets, and vehicle.
- Lead safe work practices at your site with a risk awareness and management focus.
- Strive to achieve the goals set by the people we support and ensure they have a say in their services and have choice and control in their own home.
- Ensure all documentation is current and relevant plans are in place.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships.
- Provide on-call support (shared roster approximately 2 to 3 times a year).
About You
You are a motivated, resilient, and caring leader who wants to support your team in providing services to people with disability who have complex needs. You want to ensure the people we support achieve their best life, ensuring they have choice and control.
You are commercially savvy and understand the need to balance quality service provision with the delivery of serviceable hours and ratios that are contracted by the person we support.
You are accountable, enjoy a challenge, and are not afraid of change and working through complex situations and issues. You are striving for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality services.
Criteria and Experience
- Complex, challenging behaviour sector experience is essential.
- Confidence and ability to coach and mentor staff to reach their full potential, whilst providing active support to customers with complex behaviours of concern.
- Demonstrate good analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer/technology skills.
- Strong stakeholder relationship building skills.
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
