About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to deliver high-quality clinical services to clients in residential aged care settings.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a diverse group of people and wants to make a real difference in their lives.

As an Allied Health Assistant, your time will be divided between clinical and administrative duties. You will assist in delivering physiotherapy services according to our operating procedures and work closely with allied health professionals to tailor therapy programs for residents.

  • Deliver physiotherapy services to clients as directed by physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
  • Work closely with allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Transport residents to and from therapy sessions as required.
  • Set up and pack away the physiotherapy gym area, including cleaning equipment.
  • Perform administrative tasks as guided by physiotherapists, including data entry and reporting.
  • Run exercise groups and programs for residents.
  • Support initiatives to meet client and contract expectations.
