We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Officer (External) to join our team at the University of New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective external communications strategies to engage our audiences.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to provide expert advice on communications and branding.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve the quality and efficacy of our communications.
  • Manage media inquiries and requests for information, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and significant experience in corporate communications or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.
  • Strong media contacts and knowledge of the Australian media landscape.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering external communications programs, with a focus on brand advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
