About the Role at Prospa

This is a Communications Manager position with Prospa, a leading company in Australia. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving internal and external communications. You will work closely with the Marketing Director and other stakeholders to create engaging stories and messaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and external agencies for PR support.
  • Execute PR initiatives, including media outreach, press releases, and events, with a focus on Trade media to support the sales team.
  • Assist the sales team with key messaging and research.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to drive earned and owned stories in media.
  • Organise and run monthly All Hands and Ask Me Anything sessions with the CEO, including message development and content preparation.
  • Measure the effectiveness of internal communications and use insights to improve.
  • Collect and analyse data to assess messaging effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Manage budgets and track expenses to keep campaigns on budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a communications specialist, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience in B2B, B2C, or SMB sectors.
  • Expertise in public relations and collaboration with PR agencies and media partners.
  • Experience working with C-suite executives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about marketing and branding.
