We are currently seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a disaster recovery assistant.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- The selected candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to customers affected by disasters such as floods, fires, or mould damage.

- They will work closely with experienced supervisors on worksites to complete tasks as directed.

- Use of power tools will also be required.

- In addition, the successful applicant will be responsible for processing, handling, and listing contents, including manual handling.

- General and detailed cleaning of contents and structures is also an essential part of the role.

- The position involves containment construction, demolition of internal structures, and being physically fit.

- A positive and can-do attitude, as well as being well presented, are also necessary qualities for the role.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, with fluency in speaking and writing English.

- Honesty, reliability, and a hardworking attitude are also required, with background checks applicable.

- Empathy and understanding towards customers are vital, as is the ability to manage competing priorities while producing high-quality results.

- Experience with electronic devices and reporting skills are also necessary.
