About the Role

You'll have the opportunity to work with our experienced team to provide daily care and support to our residents. This includes assisting with personal care, managing medications, and providing emotional support and companionship.

  • Lend a hand with daily life tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Work closely with our team to develop personalized care plans that meet each resident's unique needs.
  • Support residents with challenging behaviors, using positive communication techniques and de-escalation strategies.
  • Keep records of resident interactions, including any notable events or concerns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A certificate III or IV in Aged Care or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a care environment, preferably with older adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing situations.
