Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Relief Support Worker to provide care and support to individuals with disabilities. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a positive impact in their community.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to develop individualized support plans that cater to the unique needs of each client. They will also have the chance to participate in training and development programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Providing one-on-one support to clients with physical or mental health conditions
  • Assisting clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care
  • Accompanying clients on outings and social events
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

Requirements

  • AQF Certificate 3 in Community Assistance or equivalent
  • At least one year of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
