
Sales Key Account Manager Position

About the Role:
This role is an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and drive new business growth by developing key account relationships, identifying opportunities, and setting the stage for success. You will be responsible for qualifying new prospective clients, uncovering potential sales leads, and collaborating with internal teams on campaigns and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business growth through strategic outbound and inbound sales programs.
- Qualify new prospective clients, identify opportunities, and set the stage for success.
- Partner with varied teams internally to target key accounts, book meetings, and progress opportunities.
- Develop and refine lead generation strategies, build relationships with stakeholders, and ensure smooth handover of qualified leads into the sales pipeline using Salesforce.
- Analyze sales data and campaign performance to identify trends, improve approaches, and maximize results.
- Mentor junior colleagues and share best practices in outreach, qualification, and sales engagement.
About You:
- Proven experience in lead generation, business development, or sales development, preferably in the IT or technology sector.
- Leadership qualities with ability to mentor junior team members.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to engage prospects, build trust, and articulate value-add opportunities.
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability, resilience, and a positive mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build and nurture professional relationships via phone, email, and online meetings.
- Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with the drive to overcome challenges and deliver results.
- Appetite to learn about the industry is essential.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or Commerce are preferred but not mandatory.
- You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia.
- Attitude and behaviour align with Esri Australia's core values.
