At Regent Caravans, we are seeking a dedicated Workplace Health and Safety Advisor to join our team based in Melbourne's Northern suburbs.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Work Health and Safety professional to support the development and implementation of our WHS Management System.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the People & Culture team, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and promoting a positive WHS culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve and manage WHS systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Support and build a safety culture and awareness within the business.

  • Conduct internal audits, analyze data, and recommend improvements to WHS strategies.

  • Manage accident/incident investigations, workers' compensation claims, and return-to-work plans.

  • Develop and communicate incident alerts, learnings, and corrective actions.

  • Lead, support, and train risk reviews and manage actions.

  • D Deliver training, awareness, and instruction to employees.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Australian working rights.

  • Qualifications in occupational health and safety or other relevant disciplines.

  • Ability to influence and drive change through relevant initiatives and programs.

  • 4-7 years or more experience in a similar role (preferably within the Manufacturing, Logistics, or Construction industries).

  • Experience in risk management, hazard identification, incident investigation.

  • Intermediate to High Level Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.

  • Sound knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and AS/NZ Standards.

  • An ability to adapt to a changing environment.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
