We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Specialist Community Mental Health Service in Southern Adelaide. As a Mental Health Clinical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding clinical care coordination, developing professional portfolios, and supporting team leadership.

Salary: $84,870 - $107,279 p.a. (pro rata), offering generous salary packaging options to help you save money before tax.
Job Description: As a Mental Health Clinical Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering Comprehensive Clinical Care Coordination: Facilitate communication and collaboration between patients, clinicians, and community stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Developing Diverse Professional Portfolios: Gain experience in depot and clozapine clinics, supporting consumer fitness groups, and facilitating therapeutic interventions to enhance patient outcomes.
- Conducting Thorough Assessments: Utilise your expertise to perform mental health and psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, and develop personalised treatment plans that cater to individual needs.
- Supporting Team Leadership: Collaborate with the Team Manager to contribute to a cohesive and efficient team environment, ensuring effective workflow and resource allocation.
- Contributing to Quality Improvement: Engage in clinical auditing, research, and evaluation initiatives to continuously improve patient care outcomes and service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A current practicing certificate as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Enrollment in an approved mental health course or qualification in mental health practice.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise and experience in mental health services.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
