We are a leading recruitment agency specialising in temporary and permanent staffing solutions across various industries.

Job Title: Health Safety SpecialistJob Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of health and safety strategies across multiple sites. This includes facilitating WHS systems, providing advice on legislative requirements, and monitoring contractor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor WHS Management Systems across all work areas.
  • Provide specialist advice on safety risks and legislative requirements to managers and supervisors.
  • Support staff to meet legislative requirements and monitor contractors performing Principal Contractor roles.
  • Contribute to safety audits and investigations.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance across Council.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related discipline.
  • Construction industry general induction (white card).
  • Experience in a safety leadership role within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing safety systems in an operational/trade environment.
  • Knowledge of NSW WHS Act and Heavy Vehicle National Law.
