Job Title: Senior Work Health and Safety Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Work Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at ACM Recruitment Pty Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on work health and safety matters to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide hands-on support in implementing and delivering our Safety Management System across all work areas, including construction sites and major projects.
* Provide specialist advice to managers, coordinators, and supervisors on legislative requirements and effective management of safety risks.
* Support staff to fulfill legislative requirements in relation to principal contractors and assist in monitoring contractors who perform this function on behalf of the organization.
* Assist in conducting safety audits and investigations.
* Contribute to monitoring, measuring, and reporting on all aspects of safety performance across the organization.

Requirements:

* Tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related discipline.
* Construction industry general induction (white card).
* Construction industry experience in a safety leadership role.
* Demonstrated experience in implementing safety systems in an operational/trade environment.
* Knowledge and understanding of the NSW WHS Act and Heavy Vehicle National Law.
* Ability to provide advice and support to enable internal customers to meet WHS legislative and organizational requirements.
