We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in the Southern region of Melbourne. As a Speech Pathologist, you will work with adults with a disability to provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Your working days may involve delivering therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community, aimed at supporting clients to achieve their goals. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists to provide comprehensive support to our clients.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work in partnership with adults with a disability to set and achieve goals. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to engage people with a disability, and a willingness to improve on your clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to adults with a disability to achieve their goals
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide indirect client service and family coordination to support client goals
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in Speech Pathology
- Experience working with adults with a disability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in partnership with adults with a disability to set and achieve goals
- Willingness to improve on your clinical practice
