Role PurposeThe Recovery Officer will play a crucial role in minimising company expenditure by ensuring the prompt and fair process of claims recoveries. This involves working in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and determine liability in motor claims, including apportionments.
- Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to minimise company expenditure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including Members and suppliers.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives.
- Intermediate skills in the use of MS Office Software Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of the motor claims process and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to show initiative and work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in claims or a debt/recovery position in the finance/insurance industry.
