About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director to join our team at Duratec Australia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements, and providing advice on technical and engineering issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage remediation projects from initial setup through to completion
  • Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
  • Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
  • Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
  • Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
  • Involvement with tendering/estimation
  • Create and modify ITP's and SWMS
  • Raise RFI's and track responses

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in a similar role, managing construction projects in a contractor environment. You will also need to have leadership skills and a high level of understanding and appreciation for safety, commercial acumen, and programming and planning skills.

Requirements

  • Tertiary Engineering qualification in relevant discipline desirable
  • Relevant marine qualifications
  • Construction induction white card
  • Drivers License
