Job Title: Project Director
At Duratec Australia, we are seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for managing remediation projects from initial setup through to completion, ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements, and effective cost control. You will also coordinate direct labour and subcontractors, provide project progress reporting, and conduct weekly meetings.
About the Role:
- Lead remediation projects from initial setup through to completion
- Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
- Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
- Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
- Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
- Provide advice on any technical and engineering issues
- Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
- Involvement with tendering/estimation
- Create and modify ITP's and SWMS
- Raise RFI's and track responses
About You:
- Experience in a similar role, managing construction projects in a contractor environment
- Leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities
- A high level of understanding and appreciation for safety
- Commercial acumen
- Programming and planning skills
Requirements:
- Tertiary Engineering qualification in relevant discipline desirable
- Relevant marine qualifications
- Construction induction white card
- Drivers License
