About the Child and Youth Mental Health Service

The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) focuses on providing specialist care for infants, children and young people up to 18 years old with complex mental health needs.

We work collaboratively with clients and their families, building on individual and family strengths to promote better health and wellbeing.

CYMH services are delivered across Brisbane and Pine Rivers regions, as well as through outreach programs across Queensland.

Our team takes pride in providing high-quality services to over 2500 Queensland children and young people each year, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based exercise physiology services to adolescents with severe and complex mental health problems and disorders.

This role will involve working within a family-centred framework as part of a multidisciplinary team across CYMHS, primarily with day program south and community CYMHS teams.
