As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team, the Youth Specialist is expected to personally contribute to the shaping and achievement of ATSICHS vision and goals within their own scope. The Youth Specialist will provide three (3) Key Functions.
Role Functions
The Youth Specialist provides tailored case management services for young people at risk of disconnecting with their family/ community, disengagement from education, training and employment, homelessness, or at risk of harm. Youth Specialists are responsible for effective engagement with young people, their families and their support network to identify the young person's needs and aspirations, and record and progress a plan created and led by the young person, and oversight of the team for same. Youth Specialists act as the main 'point-of-contact' for the young person and their family, and work in partnership to facilitate supports required to achieve their goals. Youth Specialists develop, implement and execute the care plan of young people, and coordinate a wrap-around suite of services with the aim to achieve the four (4) program objectives

- get a job or engage in training or education
- lead a healthy and violence-free life
- have a safe, stable place to live.
Youth Specialists ultimately assist young people to realise increased self-worth, family and community connectedness, and safety, delivering a service underpinned by customer service principles. Youth Specialists are experienced and proven high performing case managers, who also assist the Youth Manager in oversight of service delivery and continuous improvement.
Duties
- Meet individual case performance targets as per weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboard system.
- Facilitate a client-led assessment and Care Plan to identify the client's goals, including the entire family, where appropriate.
- Provide role-specific targeted interventions and family facilitated group meetings in achieving client goals.
- Commit to a high level of quality management for ATSICHS through the use of LogiQC quality management systems and MobNet tasks.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Essential
**Qualification and/or Experience**:
- Current Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Social Science, Health, Allied Health, Youth Work, Community Services, Family Intervention or Criminology with 4 years' relevant experience in family support, child protection, youth support or related field
OR
- Current Diploma in Community Services, Social Work, Human Services, Child and Family, Allied Health, Youth Work, Child and Family Intervention with 5 years' relevant experience in family support, child protection, youth support or related field
AND
With at least 3 years of abovementioned experience in a case management role
**Additional Requirements**:
- Requirement to travel across the Logan and/or Brisbane region, as per program location.
- Current drivers' license
- Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply
- Working with disability card (Yellow Card) or be eligible to apply
