We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at the Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to providing South Australia's women, babies, children, and young people with the best health care.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting patient care activities for inpatients and outpatients. This includes direct patient care under the indirect or direct supervision of Physiotherapists, as well as routine testing of hydrotherapy pool chemical levels and water quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day service provision to support patient care activities
  • Direct patient care under the supervision of Physiotherapists
  • Routine testing of hydrotherapy pool chemical levels and water quality
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Hold or be working toward Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
  • High levels of professionalism and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Physical strength, flexibility, and endurance sufficient for manual handling of patients and equipment
