About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our Physiotherapy Department team in North Adelaide. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day service provision to support patient care activities for inpatients and outpatients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct patient care under the indirect or direct supervision of Physiotherapists, including assistance with interventions in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
  • Routine testing of hydrotherapy pool chemical levels and water quality.
Requirements:
  • Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification.
  • High levels of professionalism and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Physical strength, flexibility, and endurance sufficient for manual handling of patients and equipment.
