About the Role

As part of the Marketing Team, the Community Fundraising Manager is responsible for the growth of The Smith Family's mass marketing Community Fundraising program. The role provides oversight of strategy development and implementation, stakeholder engagement and campaign development to meet income and support acquisition targets.

About You

You will be an experienced Community Fundraiser who understands the importance of the fundraiser and donor relationship. You will be a natural collaborator who enjoys building digital campaigns that aim to drive growth and scale. You will also lead and develop others with a warm and authentic approach to foster collaboration.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute the Community Fundraising Strategy, collaborating with key stakeholders and the Marketing Group Manager.
  • Manage budgets for Community Fundraising and Peer-2-Peer Events, ensuring alignment with return on investment targets.
  • Oversee the design, evolution, and execution of online fundraising campaigns and community fundraising products.
  • Manage digital platforms and campaign assets, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and brand guidelines.

Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to foster engagement, autonomy, and professional growth.
  • Allocate resources and manage workflows to maximise efficiency and results.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships to support collaboration, accountability, and growth.

Reporting, Evaluation and Documentation

  • Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure alignment with strategic targets and team accountability.
  • Regularly report on the financial, strategic, and operational performance of fundraising programs.
  • Analyse data to provide insights for improving future campaigns.
  • Prepare post-campaign reports to evaluate outcomes and inform future strategy.
