Job Title: Senior Construction Estimator

The role of a Senior Construction Estimator involves leading the estimating team in producing accurate and competitive tender submissions for projects ranging from $1 million to $30 million.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the tender process across various projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost plans, budgets, and tender submissions that meet client expectations.
  • Builtsolid relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients through effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Conduct trade breakups, scope reviews, and risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project handovers and maintain cost control measures.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising compliance or quality standards.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a construction estimator in commercial, industrial, or multi-residential sectors.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software and processes is essential.
  • A strong network of suppliers and subcontractors in South East Queensland is required.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • The ability to work independently and implement best practice processes is also essential.
