Home Lending Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Home Lending Expert to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert advice to customers seeking home loans.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in lending, business development, and customer service who are passionate about creating long-lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to customers as they navigate the home buying process.
  • Make informed recommendations to customers based on their home buying goals.
  • Deliver outstanding service to customers, fostering strong relationships and loyalty.
  • Develop your personal brand and network within the local community to enhance your credibility.
  • Grow your business by cultivating internal and external referral sources, as well as soliciting referrals from existing customers.
  • Engage with home buying customers to build rapport, understand their needs and goals, and invite them into the branch for an appointment.
  • Attend regular coaching sessions to develop your lending expertise and knowledge, as well as coach your branch colleagues on best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, economic changes, and industry developments affecting customers and the organization.
  • Utilize tools to capture customer feedback and take action to address any service gaps and drive improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar home lending role within a bank or mortgage broker environment.
  • Demonstrated success in business development.
  • A comprehensive understanding of home lending products and responsible lending legislation.
