Emergency Response Specialist

A career as an Aviation Rescue Fire Fighter offers a unique blend of adventure, challenge and purpose. As a key member of the aviation industry's safety team, you'll be responsible for providing emergency services at airports, responding to aircraft incidents and fires, and maintaining the highest standards of physical fitness and mental agility.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess strong physical and mental abilities, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. You'll also need to be able to work effectively under pressure and make quick, logical decisions in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide emergency services at airports, including responding to aircraft incidents and fires
- Maintain the highest standards of physical fitness and mental agility
- Work effectively under pressure and make quick, logical decisions in critical situations
- Australian/New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
- Completed Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (Year 10/12)
- Current, unrestricted driver's license (with the ability to obtain a heavy rigid license)
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or HTLAID014) at time of commencement on Recruit Course
- Physically and mentally fit (must pass a physical aptitude test which includes a beep test with a pass score of 9.1 and aviation medical assessment)
