Asset Contract Specialist

Origin Energy is seeking a skilled Asset Contract Specialist to join our Upstream Operator Contracts Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions, core processes, and applicable legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Post-award management of commercial aspects of contracts, ensuring all contracted services are provided in accordance with contract conditions;
- Forming and maintaining influential relationships with key internal and external stakeholders;
- Providing critical support and advice to Contract Owners and Sourcing Specialists;
- Coordinating contract variations, payment claims, and pricing negotiations and contract management;
- Maintaining contract reporting, including KPI and Social Responsibilities Targets, which are monitored and upheld;
- Ensuring that all contractual matters are properly and effectively documented and implemented according to Core Processes and company standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-award contract experience;
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in business, law, engineering, or equivalent;
- Strong commercial background with demonstrated experience across contract management, compliance, and governance systems and processes;
- Experience with SAP ERP system;
- Ability to facilitate workshops and planning sessions to determine key contract management strategies;
- Experience with process improvement and implementing change.
