We are seeking an experienced Asset Management and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Public Sector People. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, servicing, and maintenance of all plant, equipment, and maintenance staff within our production facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of workforce and assets across production facilities that operate seven days a week throughout the year.
- Plan and supervise all asset repair and installation activities.
- Delegate tasks and oversee maintenance staff.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems within buildings to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide expert technical advice and evaluations on asset procurement.
- Support and develop system applications (S4 Hana) related to asset management and maintenance.
- Oversee financial management and reporting for all assets and maintenance activities, including managing contracts and service providers.
- Maintain and manage maintenance logs and daily activity reports.
- Design and implement asset maintenance procedures.
- Perform facility inspections to identify and address issues.
- Serve as Master Data Steward, ensuring the quality and relevance of the organization's data assets and metadata.
- Manage equipment inventory and propose improvements based on condition assessments, Asset Maintenance Management Plan (AMMP), and Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP).
- Ensure compliance with legislative and policy requirements, as well as relevant international and Australian Standards in Asset Management.
- Proven experience in managing assets within a production facility or similar environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience with maintenance teams.
- Experience in financial management and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about Statutory Acts, Regulations, and Australian Standards related to Building, Engineering, and Maintenance Services.
- Asset management, maintenance management, or facilities management qualifications are advantageous.
- Engineering or trade qualifications are preferred.
