Mental Health Support Worker

About the Role:

The Mental Health Support Worker role offers a chance to make a positive impact in people's lives by promoting hope and recovery through a community outreach service. This service aims to support adults with mental health issues in maintaining successful accommodation and participating in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing consumers and developing individualised recovery plans based on individual recovery goals.
  • Providing individual assistance for consumers with a mental illness, supporting them in achieving their recovery goals.
Requirements:

This role requires a strong understanding of the Principles of Recovery-Oriented Mental Health Practice. Additionally, you should be able to develop individual support plans with consumers. A 7-day rotating roster including weekends, weekdays, and public holidays is also required.
