Job Title: Senior Program Coordinator - Roster Management

This role is responsible for leading a comprehensive range of project management, stakeholder engagement and change management activities, involving Local Health Districts and Networks to drive identification and design of strategies to meet the objective of rostering maturity towards rostering optimisation for NSW Health.

The Senior Program Coordinator will work closely with the System Purchasing Branch - Efficiency Improvement and Support Team to deliver best practice rostering design for NSW Health; promote improvements in quality and safety of patient care; adequate staffing coverage; and staff training needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advanced knowledge of staff rostering procedures, protocols and practices within a hospital environment and qualifications or equivalent;
  • Proven experience in all aspects of project or program management including planning, budget management and achieving outcomes within budget and deadlines;
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, prepare draft written reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused resourcing solutions;
  • Ability to implement change management initiatives, including the planning, managing change, improving performance, management of risks, and ensuring adoption of new initiatives;

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency of Australia, New Zealand citizenship with a current New Zealand Passport, or a valid visa with permission to work in Australia;
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence;

Working Arrangements:

  • Temporary Full Time up to 12 months;
  • Hybrid working environment;
  • Ad hoc travel to locations within NSW regional towns and centres on an overnight basis as required.
