Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Coordinator to join our team in the Reform Programs department. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational support in the development and delivery of workforce enablement projects.

The role involves supporting the design, development, establishment, and delivery of projects that deliver measurable uplift in workforce capacity, capability, and culture. This includes collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to achieve program and organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of projects, including project planning, coordination of resources, budget management, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborating with team members to prepare and deliver projects.
  • SUPPORTING BUSINESS AREAS WITH RECRUITMENT ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE ALL PROCESSES ARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH DEPARTMENTAL GUIDELINES.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships across directorates and with other areas in the department.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of systems, processes, programs etc. that enable performance management, high levels of engagement, and capability uplift.
  • Providing advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues.

Requirements include:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in school operations and activities.
  • Ability to work within tight timelines to organise change activities and logistics of business process, technology, and organisational changes.
  • Contribution to project workforce strategies and plans, including stakeholder communications, leadership alignment, and transition.
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a large, complex organisation on change and/or workforce transformation projects.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in schools.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG.
