Team Leader Role Overview

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering safe and sustainable works for civil construction and maintenance projects as well as contract works associated with roads, drainage, footpaths, cycleways, carparks, street and roadside furniture and any other assets as directed to meet program requirements for an array of internal customers whilst maintaining job satisfaction.

  • This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 38 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement such as a 4-day week.
  • You will be required to lead, direct, monitor, and mentor the team.
  • Undertake maintenance and minor construction of roadside and drainage related civil infrastructure in accordance with Service Agreements / Project Schedules.

We're looking for someone with a Certificate III in Civil Construction and/or relevant experience, demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to obtain accreditations such as ChemCert, Traffic Controller, Implement Traffic Control plans, Safe Work Near Power Lines, First Aid Certificate.
