Job Description:

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Leader to lead our Roadside and Drainage team in delivering safe and sustainable works for civil construction and maintenance projects.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, an appreciation for high-quality work, and the ability to effectively lead, direct, monitor, and mentor the team.

  • Effectively lead and direct the team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Undertake maintenance and minor construction of roadside and drainage-related civil infrastructure in accordance with service agreements and project schedules.
  • Complete asset inspections, schedule, and implement maintenance tasks of piped and open drainage, GPT's, and infiltration systems, guide posts, culverts, and chemical spraying on local and RMS roads.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Civil Construction and/or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain accreditations such as ChemCert, Traffic Controller, Implement Traffic Control plans, Safe Work Near Power Lines, First Aid Certificate.
