Clinical Gastroenterology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled gastroenterologist to join our medical team. This position will involve the clinical management and intervention for gastroenterology patients across the facility.
Responsibilities:- Perform clinical services for inpatients admitted under the Gastroenterology Service.
- Provide specialist consultation within your field, including provision of outpatient services.
- Lead a high standard of patient care which conforms to best practice and is evidence based.
- You must be a Primary Medical Degree registrable with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), with recognised qualifications in Gastroenterology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
- You must have demonstrated current gastroenterology (including endoscopy) clinical practice of a high standard.
- You must have capacity for clinical leadership, a commitment to undergraduate and post-graduate teaching in medicine, nursing and allied health, and willingness to participate in clinical research.
The successful candidate will contribute to equity of healthcare delivery and gain knowledge about our community and services.
