We are seeking a talented and motivated PhD candidate to join our team in determining the physiological response of almond varieties to orchard management practices.

This research project aims to identify contributing factors to leafing failure and develop strategies to mitigate this response.

As a successful applicant, you will work closely with growers to establish best management practices in managing individual almond varieties, promoting sustainable farming systems and a healthy river system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in agricultural science, environmental science, plant physiology, or horticulture, or equivalent research experience.

You will be supported by Hort Innovation and the Almond Board of Australia throughout your PhD journey.
