Job Title: Settlement Transaction Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to manage day-to-day enquiries from client services teams, including the receipt and settlement of client transactions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily completion of designated statements in accordance with our service model.
  • Intraday inward funds reconciliation.
  • Clarification of client / front office instructions.
  • Inputting client beneficiary instructions.
  • Outward payment processing.
  • Trace enquiries.
  • Hedging company exposure with external counterparties.
  • Bank Account Reconciliation.
  • Payment Investigations including complex investigation handling.
  • Variety of Middle Office tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a settlements environment.
  • Understanding of foreign exchange markets and terms.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritise and manage deadlines.
  • Experience managing debtors.
  • Strong reconciliation knowledge and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, high work rate and low error count.
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Excel and Word.
