Customer Service Leadership Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams to achieve outstanding results.

This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of seamless, compassionate, and informed customer service that empowers and reassures those reaching out for help.

  • Mentor and coach team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee quality and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and excellence in customer service delivery.
  • Resolve escalations and maintain a culture of continuous learning and service excellence within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Customer Access team to deliver exceptional service at the first point of contact for people enquiring about AnglicareSA's broad range of community services.
  2. Support team members to ensure seamless, compassionate, and informed customer service that empowers and reassures those reaching out for help.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service delivery and quality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading customer service teams, ideally in a contact centre environment.
  • Strong ability to coach, motivate, and manage performance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Zendesk (or similar), Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A track record of high-quality customer service delivery.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Certificate in Customer Services or Call Centre Communications.
  • Knowledge of social or community service environments.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and KPI-driven service standards.
  • A warm, professional presence with the resilience to adapt in fast-paced situations.
