Sous Chef Job Opportunity

As a vital member of the kitchen team, you will play a key role in supporting the Executive Chef and contributing to the success of our venue.

The ideal candidate will oversee kitchen operations across multiple function rooms and corporate suites, ensuring exceptional food quality and efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing kitchen team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Coordinating food operations with other department managers to achieve business objectives.
  • Developing and implementing new menus and culinary concepts to drive revenue growth and meet customer expectations.
  • Managing inventory control systems, purchasing, and supply chain logistics to ensure optimal product quality, cost efficiency, and contract negotiation outcomes.
  • Implementing and maintaining HACCP (food hygiene) plans to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in the Food and Beverage industry, preferably in a stadium or high-volume venue.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team towards shared goals.
  • Strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain high workloads and meet deadlines within specified time frames.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to implement and maintain HACCP plans.
