Senior Payroll Professional

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Clerk to provide high-level payroll processing and customer service, ensuring compliance with award, taxation, legislative, and audit requirements.
About the Role- Deliver exceptional customer experience by providing services, support, and advice on payroll administration, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Maintain master data within the enterprise resource planning system and records within the records management system, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and availability.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of employment conditions, entitlements, legislation, awards, policies, and procedures, completing manual calculations and adjustments to ensure payment integrity.
- Contribute to team performance by capturing, updating, and closing tickets, identifying issues, proposing solutions, and implementing new ways of working.
- Report new risks or increased risk in a timely manner.
- Support other payroll team members as required, verifying the accuracy of information entered into the system and ensuring efficient functioning.
- Prior experience in a Payroll Clerk role is essential.
- Government experience is beneficial.
- SAP experience is mandatory.
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen status is required.
- Intermediate Excel skills are necessary.
- Dedicated communication and transparency.
- Consistent onboarding and support.
