About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Optical Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our optometrists in providing high-quality eye care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers, ensuring they have a positive experience
  • Support optometrists during appointments, including pre-testing and patient consultations
  • Demonstrate and dispense glasses with various lens options, tailored to each customer's needs

Opportunities for Growth and Development

You will have the chance to work towards a Cert IV in Optical Dispensing, with full funding available. Additionally, opportunities exist to grow into In-Store Trainer or Supervisor roles, allowing you to take on new challenges and advance your career.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of professionalism under pressure. Prior retail or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential.
