The Role
The Sales Performance Manager is pivotal in enhancing the profitability and effectiveness of our Sales and Distribution segments. This role encompasses portfolio optimization, managing client financial inquiries, and engaging with various stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and leveraging opportunities in sales, distribution, product offerings, and new business ventures to foster growth.
- Formulating and executing comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's objectives in the travel insurance domain.
- Collaborating with the leadership team and account managers to drive strategic growth initiatives.
- Setting sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) in partnership with senior management to enhance performance.
- Conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis to uncover growth prospects and guide strategic choices.
- Preparing and analyzing sales reports, profit and loss statements, and forecasts to evaluate performance and support business decisions.
- Streamlining sales operations by identifying improvement areas and implementing best practices to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Utilizing technology solutions to enhance sales and commercial functions.
- Working alongside the Strategic Delivery team to align commercial initiatives with overarching business goals.
- Cooperating with cross-functional teams, including digital, marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure a unified approach to sales and distribution.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Actuarial Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in sales planning, operational management, performance analysis, and portfolio oversight, preferably within the financial services or insurance sectors.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams and managing technological initiatives efficiently.
- Robust operational management skills, including process optimization and efficiency enhancement.
- Adept at building effective relationships to achieve desired outcomes and foster team development.
- Strong commercial insight, with the ability to analyze data to identify risks and opportunities for informed decision-making.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and the ability to influence others positively.
