Opportunity Overview

Aveo is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Community Manager to join our team at The Domain Country Club Retirement Village in Ashmore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations and services of the community, ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction and engagement.
  • Support the Community Manager with resident queries and concerns, and be responsible for assisting with incoming and outgoing resident moves.
  • Take ownership of village compliance items, completing audits, checklists, and administrative tasks as required.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including residents, staff, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Assist with day-to-day people practices, such as rostering, timesheets, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff members.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a front-line customer-facing operations-based role, preferably in retirement living, hospitality management, or a related field.
  • Developed interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on communication, time management, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a strong focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline (desirable, but not essential).
  • Minimum two COVID-19 vaccinations (required).
