Catering Operations Manager

We're seeking an exceptional Catering Operations Manager to lead our hospitality operations at AAMI Park in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for end-to-end catering operations, including public catering, corporate hospitality, and non-event day services.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in catering management, ideally in stadiums, large-scale events, or high-volume venues. You'll need strong commercial acumen with P&L management experience and a deep understanding of food safety including HACCP principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic & Financial Leadership: Align catering operations with business goals, manage budgets, and drive profitability.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain high standards in food safety, quality, and service while ensuring compliance with our Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Team Development: Lead, train, and inspire a diverse team to deliver top-tier service and grow within the business.
  • Sales & Cost Control: Drive non-event day sales, manage stock and overheads, and keep operations within budget.
  • Labor & Resource Management: Oversee staffing plans, subcontractor coordination, and support broader catering operations as needed.
