We are seeking a dedicated professional to support and empower young individuals through a therapeutic approach.
About this role:
The Intensive Therapeutic Care Caseworker provides high-quality services for young people, planning for and achieving permanency and identified outcomes.
Primary objectives:
- Conduct effective assessments, develop and implement case plans to achieve desired outcomes;
- Collaborate with the ITC Team to ensure service delivery is integrated, coordinated and tailored to meet an individual's needs;
- Establish relationships with specialist and mainstream services to improve outcomes;
- Foster partnerships with Aboriginal and CALD agencies.
Essential skills and qualifications:
- A deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and values;
- A relevant Bachelor's degree, preferably in Social Work or a related field;
- Demonstrated experience in casework practice, preferably in Out-of-Home-Care;
- Demonstrated experience working with young people with complex care needs.
