Job Opportunity: Therapeutic Support Professional
About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Therapeutic Support Professional to join our team in Northern NSW. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting children and young people with complex needs, providing therapeutic care and support to help them thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify the unique needs of each child or young person
- Develop and implement individualised therapeutic care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide ongoing support and training to direct care staff, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to deliver high-quality care
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, or related fields (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded)
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional bodies
- Significant experience working with children and young people in out-of-home care settings, ideally in an intensive therapeutic care environment
