About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to lead our built form projects in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, collaborating with clients, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver civil projects across built form, road infrastructure, and public domain works

• Assist junior team members in planning their project timelines

• Act as a mentor to up-and-coming engineers, providing guidance and support

• Contribute to technical development across the civil section

• Lead client interactions, attending design review meetings, and design coordination

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with the following attributes:

• Proven experience working as a civil engineering consultant on built form projects

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering and CPEng certification or working towards CPEng

• Experience in preparing detailed design and documentation of roads, intersections, pavements, earthworks, and stormwater drainage

• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, working autonomously

• Understanding of local government regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements

• Strong grasp and consistent track record of using 12D

• Competent and independent use of other civil modeling software such as DRAINS, MUSIC, Autoturn, and AutoCAD

• Excellent communication skills, able to speak and write clearly, concisely, and compellingly

• Creative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and obstacles

• Strong team ethic, working collaboratively across multiple offices

• Handles interruptions, changes, and challenges
