Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial department, you will play a crucial role in delivering unique and prestigious builds across Scotland.

About the Role:

  • Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects from subcontract procurement through to final accounts.

  • Prepare accurate valuations, track variations, and oversee subcontractor payments.

  • Maintain tight cost control and forecasting, ensuring commercial compliance throughout project lifecycles.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including design and site operations.

  • Produce detailed cost reports and maintain strong project documentation.

  • Contribute to continual improvement of commercial processes and mentor junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.

  • 5-10+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within bespoke residential or main contracting.

  • Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.

  • Proficient in cost management software and Excel.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset.

  • Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
