Social Worker Grade 2 Position

Austin Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker Grade 2 to join our team. As a key member of our social work department, you will be responsible for providing clinical social work services to inpatients across one or more of our Austin Health sites.
Key Responsibilities- Apply your Social Work knowledge and skills to assess, treat and plan the discharge of patients
- Provide counseling to patients and families
- Supervise Grade 1 Social Workers and Social Work students
- Participate in quality improvement, service improvement and/or research
- Hold a degree in Social Work
- Have experience working in a hospital or health-related setting
- Be able to work and contribute to team culture and work within a multidisciplinary environment
