Austin Health Casual Grade 2 Speech Pathologist Position

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team to work on our weekend roster based at the Austin Hospital acute site.
This is a very autonomous position as we roster only one staff member from our pool on Saturdays, Sundays and every public holiday except Christmas Day.
You will work in a flexible approach whereby you can nominate for whatever number of shifts that work for you.
Phone support during your allocated shift is available for urgent situations by contacting the Speech Pathology Manager or Grade 4 Acute and Ambulatory Stream Leader.
You will perform communication and swallowing assessments for patients in all areas of the acute hospital.
Once you are part of our casual pool there may be other opportunities to undertake casual work with us during periods of backfill and leave.
