Principal Solutions Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Solutions Architect to join our Cloud Advisory practice in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and accelerating our growth by driving strategic leadership and technical innovation.

About the Role

In this role, you will be the driving force behind designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions that meet our customers' needs and align with our business objectives. Your expertise will be invaluable in crafting robust cloud architectures, fostering efficiency, scalability, and excellence in application modernization and transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will serve as a trusted technical partner in the sales process, instilling confidence in Versent's technical expertise among customers.
  • You will collaborate with client teams to deliver key account strategies and translate client solutions into commercial documents.
  • You will lead customer-facing design and discovery workshops.
  • You will provide insights and expert guidance to assist clients navigating tool selection and design decisions.
  • You will define features, phases, and solution requirements.
  • You will contribute to outcomes in Discovery, Validation, Tech Strategies, Business Case development, Proof of Concepts, and customer demos.
  • You will support Practice Directors and Leads in creating domain collateral for presales and streamlining project delivery and quality.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high level of technical and analytical knowledge in Azure Cloud application development.
  • Experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as consultant, solutions engineer, or solutions architect.
  • In-depth understanding of modern architecture patterns and integration.
  • In-depth understanding of CI/CD and secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience of App Development, serverless, and API.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
