About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Data Management Specialist to join our team in Canberra. As an APS 6 Logistics Officer, you will be accountable for performing and achieving complex data management and risk analytics work within an integrated workforce.

You will be responsible for ensuring knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements. This role requires a high level of autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes of your work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed data management and administration technical, professional, and policy advice in relation to complex work.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, program, and project management, and policy development.
  • Engage with stakeholders in relation to complex or sensitive issues and identify, anticipate, and respond to their needs and expectations.
About Our Team

The Directorate of Logistics Systems, Strategy, and Assurance (DLSSA) is a dynamic team located in Canberra. We are a blended APS, ADF, and contractor workforce with deep subject matter expertise and specialist skills.

We are agile and adaptable, embracing ERP and other business transformation initiatives. Our ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fluid environment.

They will be able to manage priorities and needs of customers to meet and exceed their expectations. A good level of computer literacy, knowledge of logistics systems, and business transformation initiatives are essential.
