As a key member of our technical support team, the IT End User Support Officer plays a vital role in delivering high-quality technical assistance to employees across various infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide localized support and manage support activities
  • Troubleshoot complex issues on TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP networks
  • Install, connect, and relocate devices including workstations, telephony hardware, and peripherals
  • Prepare new hire or replacement equipment for shipment
  • Offer onsite white glove support
  • Implement patch management on local site infrastructure
  • Occasionally require out-of-hours or on-site weekend presence to meet business needs
  • Manage Linux and Ubuntu systems within the Software Development stack of Infrastructure
  • Manage assets including stock levels and life cycle refresh planning
Requirements
  • Eligible for an Australian security clearance
  • Minimum 5 years experience in customer-facing IT technical support with infrastructure responsibilities
  • Experience in system administration and network diagnostics
  • Desirable experience with Linux operating system
  • Familiarity with VMware and ESXi, Horizon advantageous
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy administration
  • Good knowledge of storage components Netapp, Synology, PowerVault etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Windows based applications required
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills application diagnostics, hardware diagnostics, and operating systems
  • Excellent communication skills verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities
  • Relevant degree qualification
  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple competing tasks
